Ward End city a small area in Birmingham, England. This small area, Ward End, covers between Hodge Hill, Stechford, and Saltley. The small town area includes a fun public park and its Ward End amusement Park. It has long opened for over centuries (or 100 years).
Ward End’s Pelham joins the Alum Rock by the famous railway bridge in Saltley. This happens due to the transition occurring on the road, making both areas and sub-areas linked. There is the famous Fox and Goose pub in Ward End. It is a shopping area and pub situated in Ward End’s eastern region, marking its boundary with Hodge Hill and Stechford.
The most famous and visited location in Ward End and a tourist attraction site is its Park. In 1904, the town’s Park fully opened and began operation, covering a massive land in Ward End. This Park in Ward End gets densely populated during the months of summer. For this reason, the Park House comes into use. And the park house has existed for years dating as far back as 1759.
At the town’s Park, they are about two huge multi-sporting courts for practising. The Park has two professionally standard cricket nets, a park for cars, and two large areas acting as a play section.
Ward End is a small residential area housing not so many persons till today. It lies in the eastern region of Birmingham in England. Like any other wards in Birmingham, Ward End is under the sovereign government of the United Kingdom. The attraction to this geographical location is the town’s Park, secondary school, worship centre, and the usual events.
Ward End has experienced several usual and unlikely events for years. In the last few months of 1981 and the beginning part of 1982, about five residential houses on the Thornton Road reported a case of stones being continuously thrown at their window late at night.
A night surveillance team and CID for fingerprint scanning were set-ups; there is no record of human activity involvement until today. Eventually, the case was unsolvable and later closed.
