Areas We Cover Across Birmingham, Including Sutton Coldfield

Find your neighbourhood or postcode below - if you are inside Birmingham's boundary, we can quote.

As a painter and decorator in Birmingham, PDS Painting works across the whole city, including Sutton Coldfield. Four areas have their own pages with local detail, and every other neighbourhood we cover is listed further down, grouped by postcode district. If you can’t see yours but you live inside Birmingham’s boundary, just ask - the list isn’t every street in the city.

Our Four Area Pages

Sutton Coldfield (B72 to B76), Erdington (B23 and B24), Hall Green (B28) and the Birmingham side of Great Barr (B42 and B44) each have a page on the local housing and the decorating work we do there.

Places Just Outside Our Area

We work within Birmingham’s city boundary only. Solihull (including Shirley, Olton, Chelmsley Wood, Marston Green and Castle Bromwich), the Sandwell towns of West Bromwich, Smethwick, Oldbury, Bearwood and Hamstead, Halesowen, and places such as Rubery, Hollywood and Water Orton fall outside it, so we don’t cover them.

Questions About Our Coverage

My neighbourhood is not on the list - do you still cover it?

If it's inside Birmingham's city boundary, it's very likely we do. The list on this page is the neighbourhoods we're asked about most, not every street in the city. Tell us your postcode when you call and we'll confirm.

Do you cover Sutton Coldfield?

Yes. Sutton Coldfield has been part of the City of Birmingham since 1974, and we work right across it, from Boldmere and Wylde Green up to Four Oaks, Mere Green and Walmley. Our Sutton Coldfield page has more on the work we do there.

Do you work in Solihull or West Bromwich?

No. We work within Birmingham's city boundary only, so Solihull and West Bromwich are both outside our area.

Why do only four areas have their own page?

Those four pages hold local detail about the housing and the jobs we do there. Every other neighbourhood on this list gets exactly the same service - the same team, the same preparation and the same written quote.

Do you charge more for areas further from the city centre?

Your quote is worked out for your job after we've visited, and it's fixed in writing before any work starts, wherever in Birmingham you live. If anything in it isn't clear, ask at the visit and we'll explain it.
